Experience the heroic tale like never before

The screenings will take place at the Royal Albert Hall, marking Gladiator’s fourth appearance at the iconic venue alongside celebrating the film’s 25th anniversary. Matthew Todd, director of programming at the Royal Albert Hall, noted the building’s Roman amphitheatre-inspired design as a fitting backdrop for the gladiatorial epic.
During the performance you will see firsthand how the power of music deepens your connection to what’s in front of you on the screen, making every moment much more cinematic, emotional and momentous.
Maximus, played by Russell Crowe, formerly one of the Roman army’s most trusted generals, is sold by slave traders to battle in the Colosseum. He is determined to take revenge on Emperor Commodus (Joaquin Phoenix), win back his dignity, avenge his family and gain freedom for his people.
