Drone shows are on the increase, much to our delight, offering us unprecedented visual experiences. Sandown Park Racecourse in Esher, just 30 mins by train from London, very soon will be transformed into an open-air stage for the first ever DroneArt Show in the UK, following its huge success in Los Angeles, Miami, Madrid, Milan and recently Lyon and Paris.
On August 22-23 visitors will enjoy a fusion of classical music and state-of-the-art drone technology. As a string quartet will perform timeless masterpieces, including Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons and Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, while hundreds of synchronised drones will light up the night sky, visually interpreting the music in real-time.
Night of music, drones and candle glow

Expect dynamic formations of drones such as blooming flowers, twinkling stars, graceful swans and more, all perfectly choreographed to the live soundtrack. The performance will be elevated further by the warm glow of hundreds of candles, creating an ethereal and intimate atmosphere under the stars.
The whole show will take 65 minutes with two acts and an interval. Guests are welcome to arrive two hours before the event begins to relax and watch the sunset.
Two magical acts

The first act brings to life the four seasons – spring, summer, autumn and winter – culminating in a dazzling snow scene.
The second act features a series of bird-themed displays, including a swan, a cuckoo, and a charming ballet of unhatched chicks. It’s hard to think of a better way to start the bank holiday weekend.
